Event Details

Here, we will birdwatch and then look for various species of bats in Littleton, Colorado. The event will be led by Alison Kondler, a Colorado Parks and Wildlife Volunteer Naturalist and Denver Audubon Master Birder. She will be using her Echo Meter Touch Bat Detector, which identifies bat species by their echolocation calls in real time.

Limited space is available. Participants must be 18 years of age or older. This will take place in Littleton, CO. You will receive a link to the location and other information via email the day before the field trip.

Bring a CAMPING CHAIR or BLANKET, flashlight, bug spray (for mosquitos), and one or more interesting bat facts to share.

Please only sign up if you can make it, or cancel with plenty of time for others to sign up. No-shows will not be invited back to future events.
